About CSM

Central Station Monitoring is a full-service intrusion and fire alarm central station. In 1996 CSM received its first UL UUFX Certification. CSM decided to begin offering its UL®-listed central station services to alarm dealers looking for an alternative to the ever-changing national monitoring scene.

Our SQL-based MAStermind Monitoring automation system is fast, secure, and redundant; running on multi-processor servers. When you use our MASweb remote administration, you have the ability to view live account history from your jobsite or office location. You can view a list of reports, place a system in test, and make changes over the web.

History

Central Station Monitoring actually started as Mastertech Security in 1982.

In 1996, we became a full UL Certified Central Station.  We picked up more dealers due to this upgrade. Also in 1996 the State of Oregon was one of the first to start requiring monitoring operators to be certified to DPSST regulations. CSM lead the way in becoming the first central station to become certified by the State of Oregon DPSST. No Central Station can legally operate in Oregon unless their operators and Executive Staff have been certified. In 2000, a decision was made to get out of the installation business and go strictly 3rd party monitoring. We at that time took on the DBA of Central Station Monitoring.  When word got out that we were now strictly 3rd party other local dealers were contacted and we began expanding quickly. What started out as a small 1 operator operation with 1 receiver now has grown to a full 24/7 staff, with hundreds of dealers, Thousands of accounts and are now across the nation. We now have multiple receivers covering all major formats, communicating over Digital, IP and Cell.

We work directly with reps from DSC, Honeywell, Bosch, AES, Pro Sales Reps and Firelite. Our distributors like Tri-Ed, Arlenco and ADI help us to make sure we can get the products our dealers need fast and on time.
